Officers Meeting discussion - Monday 23rd February
Hello everyone ![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)
Meeting tonight was mainly to discuss how people behave on guild chat. We would hope that all players have read guild guide lines regarding guild chat. It was brought to some officer`s attention that there have been a couple of instances where guild chat rules were not being followed. Players who are not courteous and respectful to other players will be given a warning, and if the behaviour continues it will result in further measures being taken. We like to think that Ordo is a friendly, helpful guild and we would hope that all players "get along" with each other, but we know that the size of the guild means that there are likely to be disagreements at times. Please refrain from dealing with any issues you may have in open guild chat. If any player has an issue with another player Sweetangel and myself are here to help you try and resolve them amicably.
The other main topic was, do we need to have specific players who are "specialists" in a certain class to help other with their class builds? It was felt that maybe two players from each class could be nominated as "specialists" and if anyone needed advice about build or other issues with that class they could ask them. What do you think about that? If you like the idea maybe you would like to suggest who the "specialists" for your class could be and we could ask them if they would be willing to take on that role.
A side topic discussed was about collecting Battle Keep materials in Border Range without being ganked. We are hoping to discuss this with other guilds and see if we can come to some kind on no-ganking while collecting policy. We will let you know how we get on with that.

Guildchat...
Guildchat, request,
I would like to bring something else under the attention regarding guildchat. It happens a lot lately that people chat in vent and respond in guildchat. This is, when you are not in vent, very confusing. I would ask people to talk in vent, and when you have no mic (like me for example) chat in raid- or groupchat and not in guildchat. Or do al the talking (question and answer) in guildchat, so that everyone can enjoy the topic.
Thanks in advance,
Jinxer.![Razz](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

Re: Officers Meeting discussion - Monday 23rd February
How should that work - I'm micless myself and how do you respond to several things said on vent when not in guild chat? - you can't invite all people on vent to group/raid chat with you all the time just because you feel like/have to respond to jokes, direct questions towards you or whatever it is, if so several people would be grouped a lot for no reason (besides the talking/responding) and that would make it even more complicated and confusing.Jinxer wrote:Guildchat, request,

vent
Well, it's very strange to see no text for a long time and then suddenly you see chat that doesn't make sense at all when you are not listening to vent. And I don't feel the need to have vent on all the time. I read the chat to see if people have questions, need help or to see them achieve things.
